Recreation Ministry exists in three components at First Baptist -- Sports, Fitness and Trips. Our goal is to provide quality experiences with welcoming environments. Our hope is our participants who already have a personal relationship with Christ would feel comfortable inviting their family, friends and colleagues to join in our activities. 
Sports -- We offer softball leagues for men in the spring and summer and for women in the fall. Our men's basketball league is for ages 19-30 and 25-59.
Fitness -- Faithfully Fit at First offers classes several times a week. These classes are a combination of stretching, toning, step and core exercises and are offered in a format that people of all abilities will be able to work at their own level. Each class includes time to share prayer requests and a group devotional. Cost is $2 per class. Classes are available on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9:15 a.m. and Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:15-7:30 p.m.
Trips -- We offer many trips throughout the year. Whether it's a one-day trip to Seagrove for the pottery festival, a show in Myrtle Beach, two days in Charlotte for a NASCAR race or seven days in the northeast for our annual Major League "Baseball Bliss" trip, we have something you will enjoy.
