FBC Ministry to Retirees and Senior Adults

Some Sweet Ladies!FBC’s Ministry to Retirees and Senior Adults would love for you to come and be part of this ministry.  It’s simple – if you’ve ever been invited to be a part of AARP, then this ministry is designed for you.   Our leadership team is intentional in trying to provide  activities, family and belonging, as well as mission and ministry opportunities for and among our retirees and senior adults of all ages on a monthly basis.  Whether it’s a day trip on a boat cruise, a luncheon at our Activities Center or a mission project, our ministry seeks to meet the needs of our retirees and senior adults.    Our upcoming and weekly events are listed and described below.  We’d love to have you join us!  If you have questions about this ministry, contact Daryl Trexler at 763-2471 or at dtrexler@fbcwilmington.org

EVERY WEEK
Tuesday Noon Service
– Many of our senior adults and retirees enjoy our Tuesday Noon Service, located at our Activity Center on Independence Blvd.  Every Tuesday, one of FBC’s ministers leads in a time of prayer and presents a relevant Biblical message.  During the fall and spring, a lunch is also provided for a minimal cost.
