The First Baptist Church Activities Center is located at 1939 Independence Boulevard, behind Westfield Shopping Center/Independence Mall, between Oleander Drive and Shipyard Boulevard.

Built in the 1970s to provide recreation and wellness programs for the members of FBC and the community, the Activities Center is an integral part of the total ministry of FBC, seeking to complement, undergird and strengthen all of our ministries and organizations.

The facility includes a gymnasium, softball fields, locker rooms, a racquetball room, classrooms, a conference room and a small kitchen and houses most of our recreation ministry programs, including basketball, volleyball and softball leagues for children, youth and adults. The Activities Center also provides a large enough setting where we can gather as a church family for fellowship events like our Thanksgiving Wildlife Banquet and the Winter Follies.
