Expectations
It is our expectation that members of First Baptist Church regularly involve themselves in worship and in activities that nurture faith, such as Sunday School, and that they support the mission and ministries of the church with their time, talents and finances. As a church, we commit to supporting and encouraging you in your spiritual growth and in living out your Christian life through worship, teaching, prayer and fellowship and by helping you to understand and utilize your spiritual gifts and natural talents for the benefit of God’s kingdom.

Ways That You Can Become a Member of First Baptist Church
During the hymn of commitment at the conclusion of the worship service, walk forward and tell the minister you want to join the church in one of the following ways:

• By profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and by baptism.
• By transfer of membership:
• Promise of letter from another Church
• Statement of your previous baptism in another church

Watchcare: A spiritual decision you may make if you are a member of a church in another city and wish to have your membership remain in that church while being under the spiritual watchcare of our church while you live here.

Rededication: Another spiritual decision you may make to renew your commitment by public rededication of your life to Christ.

FIRST Impressions
Those who are interested in becoming a member of First Baptist Church are encouraged to attend FIRST Impressions, an introduction to the life and ministries of First Baptist Church with the pastor and church staff.
