The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone.

We are in this together. Fellowship is about encouraging one another, sharing life’s ups and downs together, and pointing each other toward Christ who calls us together. It is our goal at First Baptist to be committed to one another, to offer a powerful welcome to visitors, to be inclusive in our fellowship activities, to make the building of relationships with one another a priority, and to practice aggressive hospitality to all.

Looking to the Future – The Fellowship Purpose Team

The greatest challenge facing our Fellowship Purpose Team as we conduct our strategic planning for 2004-2006 is mapping out a process of getting more people better connected into the life of First Baptist Church, whether it is guests trying to find their way around, or members looking for the support of a small group or the opportunities of serving in ministry.

Pray for our Fellowship Purpose Team as they seek strategies to encourage folks to develop deeper levels of intimacy in their relationships with God and with one another.

Fellowship on the FBC Website

Information related to fellowship can be found in many places on our website. Visitors should check out our Guests section where you will find information about our Welcome Center, the Visitors Reception following the 11:00 a.m. worship service, and FIRST Impressions, our class for new and prospective members. Those who are considering joining First Baptist can also find information about becoming a member.

Guests and members alike will find the Discipleship section helpful in trying to get connected to a Sunday School class, small group or a ministry.

Fellowship also involves lending one another support through our congregational care ministries and just simply enjoying a time of recreation together.

Keep a check on the church calendar for all of our upcoming events.
