Tuesday Night Feeding Ministry Update
Our Tuesday Night “reduced size” cooking team is back in action and serving food while practicing “social distancing” when distributing meals. Encouraging words of support, love and gratefulness are exchanged. Dinner is provided at FBC Downtown, as well as the Greenfield Lake and Carolina Beach campground locations.
Please pray for our Homeless Ministry as we search for a new location to serve meals in the Greenfield Lake area.
FBC PREPARED MEALS — NEW DATE is August 11 (Due to Isaias!):
From Gary: “Due to the bad weather we’re looking at on August 4, we have decided to postpone VOLUNTEER MEAL DROP-OFF week to the following week, August 11. If you have signed up, you are still signed up! There are still slots available for meals and desserts. Contact Gary Harris and everyone stay safe.”
On the FIRST (NOW AUGUST 11) TUESDAY of EACH MONTH, we will call on our FBC families to prepare meals. We are asking 20 FBC families to prepare 10 meals each and bring them downtown on Tuesday evening between 4:30-5:30pm. FBC will provide styrofoam containers for you to fill with any type of meal you desire. You may pick up your styrofoam, clamshell containers at the Activities Center front door any time from 9am – 4pm on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks in advance for sharing your cooking skills in Jesus’ name.

We plan to allow our fully staffed mission teams to return to work on Tuesday evenings as soon as our state enters Phase 3 of the re-opening process.
