“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46

The damage and aftermath from Hurricane Florence has left our city and surrounding community with devastation unlike anything we have ever experienced. This page has been established to keep you informed of the relief efforts happening through or in partnership with our church. We will update this page daily but please note that information is subject to change without notice.

The response from our church family, our community and from across the nation is making a difference in the lives of those who are most affected by this storm.

Thank you for the role you will play in being the ‘hands and feet of Christ.’ Mission is not just something we do at First Baptist, but is who we are! “…love your neighbor as yourself.’ Mark 12:31

Financial Donations: All money that is given through the ministry of First Baptist Church will be used to aid in relief for those who have been impacted by the storm. Thank you for your generous gift.

Share stories of hope. Where do you see God at work? How is serving blessing you? How has God used you or someone else to make an impact. Where do you see others living out the commandment to Love God and love your neighbor? ‘Love Does’ what does that mean to you? Let’s give thanks to God and encourage others through our stories of hope.

How can we can pray for you or a loved one? It is our great privilege to come before our Lord and offer prayers of praise, thanksgiving and petitions.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” Phil. 4:6
