First Baptist Church is located in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Downtown Wilmington

Downtown Wilmington offers a beautiful waterfront walkway along the Cape Fear River that provides access to many restaurants, music venues, and shopping. The downtown area also is a destination for live performance venues that include the Wilson Center with its very modern 3-story concert hall, and Historic Thalian Hall that is one of the oldest theaters in the United States, operating since 1858.
