“The Love of Christmas” | Isaiah 11:1-10 | Dr. Jim Everette

But often we are so overextended we miss the real Presence of the one who’s birthday we celebrate. Best we can tell joy infused the hearts of those who first celebrated the birth of Jesus. What is joy anyway?

“The Hope of Advent: You Matter.  You Are Not Alone.” | Luke 1:5-17 | Rev. Jayne Davis

Jesus came as light into the darkness.  The hope of incarnation.  God saying to a weary world, “You Matter.  You are not alone.” Is that a word you need to hear today?  Is there darkness in your life that feels overwhelming?  You matter.  You are not alone. We live in a weary world that needs that hope.  Do our lives offer light to those who sit in darkness?  Do they know that they matter to God and that they are not alone… because of us?
