All Things New

What’s the most excited you’ve ever been about getting something new? New shoes, new shirt, new sweaters are nice but that’s garden variety excitement. New furniture, new car? Now we’re getting somewhere. New house? That’s about as good as it gets, right? And yet as wonderful as those things are, what if I told you that God is in the business of making all things new? What if it wasn’t just your possessions but all of you, your heart and mind, your relationships, the whole world that was new. As we begin a new year, what is God talking about when He says that He is making “all things new”?
