Thankfulness comes up 71 times in the New Testament, and in most of those instances, the word used is related to the Greek word eucharisteo. The definition of this word is ‘To show oneself grateful, to be thankful, to give thanks, and to be thankful in giving.’ As believers in Jesus Christ, we respond to being thankful by giving our lives and resources to furthering God’s Kingdom. Our November sermon series will focus on how thankful we are in our Giving, Living and Commitment as followers of Jesus Christ.
