I have been a member of FBC Wilmington’s staff since 1990. I served as the Associate Pastor of First Baptist Drexel, NC prior to coming to joining the FBC-Wilmington team. Lisa and I were married in 1983. Our two grown children, Jonathan and Megan are married and we are blessed with a granddaughter, Everette Elizabeth Barbour and two grandsons, Brooks Phillip Everette and James Douglas Barbour III.

I am married to Wes Davis. We have four children, Kayla, Christian, Meredith, and Annie.

It has been my true joy to serve as a member of the staff of FBC Wilmington since 2001. I met my husband, Jeff in high school and we celebrated our 29th anniversary this year. We enjoy cooking, boating, music, and every chance we get to spend time with our grown son, Cutter, who lives in Columbia, South Carolina.

I served as a Worship Leader at The Church at Sterchi Hills, and as the Development Officer & Grant Writer at Carson Newman College. I joined the FBC Wilmington team in 2017. My grandparents were music missionaries in Brazil and my mom’s father was a church minister his whole life. My wife Muriel and I met in college. We recently adopted a dog named Perdy.

After graduating from Campbell University Divinity School, I officially joined the FBC Wilmington staff in the fall of 2021. While in seminary, I served in the Student Ministry at FBC. I grew up in Wilmington and FBC Wilmington has played a major role in my life and the development of my faith.

Before coming to First Baptist as the Minister to Senior Adults, I served as the pastor of three churches across North Carolina over the last 36 years. My wife, ENan and I returned to Wilmington, my home town, several years ago to continue our ministry. We share a deep passion and heart for missions and love serving others. We enjoy walking on the beach, visiting with grandchildren, traveling to new places, and hosting friends on our back porch.

Since 2006, I have served as the director of the First Baptist Christian Preschool. I grew up in First Baptist Church and have loved raising my two children, Connor and Madison in my childhood church. Recently we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Madison, and welcomed a new son, Jonathan, into our family.

After three years living in Southeast Asia and eight years in California, I returned to Wilmington, my hometown, in 2018 and joined the FBC staff in the summer of 2021. My husband, Chris, and I enjoy travel, books, and good coffee.

After working for Duke Energy for thirty-eight years, I retired in January 2018. During the interim, I worked a few part-time jobs and kept myself busy with home projects. I love being a member of the Chancel Choir and Security Team and felt called to expand my serving by joining the Tuesday Night Feeding Team, the Missions and Ministry Committee, and the Diaconate. I am thankful for another opportunity to serve God in a new role, welcoming all those that will come through the doors of the Activities Center will the love of Christ.

I was born in Wilmington and raised in nearby Duplin County. I am proud and happy to join the FBC family as Assistant to Administration, Connection, and Care. I live with my twin sister Abby and youngest daughter Adeline in Wallace. We have three dogs and too many cats. My two grown children, Seth and Kirsten, live in Missouri. Seth made me a grandma in 2018 with Ryder James and my second grandchild is due in January 2022.
Before joining the FBC Staff in 2021, I was an administrative assistant at UNCW. I met my husband Trevor in college through our mutual love for theatre and arts, and we were married in October of 2020. We are avid readers and love spending quiet weekends at home with our cat Mr. Socks. If we aren’t reading, you can find us in the theatre (on stage, backstage, or just enjoying the show) or playing board games with friends.

I grew up mostly in North Carolina and have been attending FBC Wilmington with my family since 2011. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020 and moved back to Wilmington. I love archaeology and hope to work in a museum at some point in my life. I also enjoy listening to music and watching movies with my friends.

I am an accomplished Office Manager, skilled in a host of daily accounting functions, including payroll and QuickBooks. I attended Quinnipiac University for Accounting, and have a diverse background in non-profits, business operations, program management, training, and marketing. Most recently, I worked at Cape Fear Community College, in the Registrar’s office.
