Lisa and I were married in 1983. Our two grown children, Jonathan and Megan are married and we were recently blessed with our first granddaughter, Everette Elizabeth.

EmailBefore joining the FBC staff in 2001, I was the Executive Director for the New Hanover County Partnership for Children (Smart Start), Good Shepherd House Administrative Director and Coalition for the Homeless (NYC) Assistant Director. I am married to Wes Davis. We have four children, Kayla, Christian, Meredith, and Annie.

EmailBeginning my career in ministry after graduating seminary in 1978, I have been on staff at FBC Wilmington for 40 years! My wife Connie and I make a wonderful ministry team. We have two grown sons, Warren and Skyler, and two beautiful daughters-in-law and three grandchildren.

EmailIt has been my true joy to serve as a member of the staff of FBC Wilmington since 2001. I met my husband, Jeff in high school and we celebrated our 27th anniversary this year. Our son, Cutter, is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina and is the great joy of our lives.

EmailI joined the FBC Staff in 2015. Prior to that I worked on several different church staffs while pursuing my degree. I am blessed with two wonderful parents and two brothers, including my twin.

EmailI served as a Worship Leader at The Church at Sterchi Hills, and as the Development Officer & Grant Writer at Carson Newman College. I joined the FBC Wilmington team in 2017. My grandparents were music missionaries in Brazil and my mom’s father was a church minister his whole life. My wife Muriel and I met in college. We recently adopted a dog named Perdy.

EmailBefore coming to First Baptist as the Minister to Senior Adults, I served as the pastor of three churches across North Carolina over the last 36 years. My wife, ENan and I returned to Wilmington, my home town, several years ago to continue our ministry. We share a deep passion and heart for missions and love serving others. We enjoy walking on the beach, visiting with grandchildren, traveling to new places, and hosting friends on our back porch.

EmailI began volunteering at the Activities Center right after our family joined First Baptist Church. I volunteered for about eight years before accepting the offer to originally join the staff as Assistant to the Director, and later as the Director of Activities and Recreation. My husband, Chris and I have three adult children: girl/boy twins, Shelly and Shaun (married to Kayla and daughter Anna) and a daughter Laura and a little black dog named Scotty.

EmailSince 2006, I have served as the director of the First Baptist Christian Preschool. I grew up in First Baptist Church and have loved raising my two children, Connor and Madison in my childhood church. Recently we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Madison, and welcomed a new son, Jonathan, into our family.
