Student Ministry

Serve. Grow. Belong.

At the FBC Student Ministry, we are creating a space for discipleship where students from sixth to twelfth grades can Serve, Grow, and Belong together. We want our students to know that they are an integral part of our story by giving them a place to belong. From this foundation, we seek to join together to grow spiritually and to serve as the hands and feet of Christ to the community and the world around us.

Student Mission Trip

July 21-26
Washington, D.C.
Cost: $500

While many of the people living in the Metro area live in comfort, too much of the city’s population lives with the hardship of poverty and hunger. We’ll be living in the city for a week, serving alongside local organizations spreading love and light throughout our nation’s capital. Along the way we’ll learn about some of the realities of urban living, explore some of the historical treasures of the city, and have a whole load of fun.

Rev. Josh Godwin

Minister to Students

I joined the FBC staff in 2023 to minister with this great group of students and families, bringing 10 years of experience to this fun and fantastic work. I and my wife, Alyssa, and son, Maxwell, are excited to be part of this faith community in Wilmington.
