Tuesday Night Feeding Ministry Update
This week a delicious meal will be prepared by Parchies Barbecue restaurant. Over the past several weeks we have had meals prepared by local restaurants and also by our FBC members. Three small distribution teams serve the food by simply placing a meal, dessert, and soft drink on a table for hungry men and women to come one at a time to pick up their supper. Encouraging words of faith and unconditional love are always shared by our ministry teams and virtually every single recipient expresses how much they appreciate First Baptist Church sharing a meal with them.
FBC PREPARED MEALS on JUNE 2: FBC members will be called on to provide 10 meals each for our Tuesday Night Feeding Ministry. Use the links below to sign up and volunteer to prepare your favorite meal and bring them downtown to FBC on Tuesday from 5:30-6:30pm. We will bring you 10 styrofoam boxes for you to fill with any type of meal you desire.

TNFM PLAN: Our Tuesday night Feeding Ministry has taken on a new approach due to virus precautions. Local restaurants are preparing our 150-200 meals each week. We will use very small teams of 2-3 people at each of the two locations to feed our hungry and homeless neighbors. We are very grateful for PT’s Grill, Parchies Barbeque, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Blue Surf Cafe, and Chris’ Restaurant in joining us as we help those in need. We are also having FBC families prepare 10 carry-out meals once a month.
The 6′ social distancing is carefully observed throughout the night along with words of encouragement. Please pray for our guests and volunteers.
We are hopeful that this weekly ministry will be back in full swing soon and we can resume our ministry with all of our wonderful volunteers!
