LEAP into God’s story this summer at FBC Kids Summer Camps!  Kids will discover how God’s story helps us KNOW God’s love, equips us to GROW in how we understand that love and invites us to GO share that love in the world.  We’ll leap into action, adventure, science, missions, and the arts as we learn, play, and celebrate God’s story together!  

Camp Jonah – Leap into God’s Story June 17-21 | 9:00-2:00 | Completed K-Completed 5th | $75 | Lunch Provided | Aftercare Available Led by Rev. Becca Jones, Minister to Children Campers will experience worship, Bible study, art, science, missions, recreation, and connect with God each day as we leap into the stories Jesus told!

Coastal Adventures - Leap into God’s Adventure June 24-28 | 9:00-2:00 | Completed 1st-Completed 5th | $100 |Bring a Bag Lunch | Aftercare available Led by Rev. Christian Davis, Minister of Engagement Campers will meet at the Activity Center daily and take field trip adventures exploring the coastal wonders of our community.

P.E. Camp – Leap into Action July 15-19 | 9:00-12:00 | Completed 1st-Completed 5th | $75 Led by Laura Thornton and Rev. Christian Davis, Minister of Engagement Join in the Action with Bible study and P.E. games and activities at the Activity Center.

Arts Camp – Leap into the Arts July 29-Aug 2 | 9:00-2:00 |Completed K-Completed 5th | $125 |Bring a Bag Lunch |Aftercare Available Led by Rev. Dr. Tracie Jernigan, Minister of Worship Arts Campers will leap into music, visual art, drama, and more as they connect faith to artistic expression. Friday evening features an art showcase. 

Camp Creation – Leap into God’s Love June 11-13 | 9:00-12:00 |Age 3-PreK | $40 Led by Rev. Becca Jones, Minister to Children Preschoolers will leap into God’s love through Bible story, crafts, rotation stations, music, snack and play each day!

Passport Kids Camp Overnight Camp  July 8-11 | Greensboro College |Completed 3rd-Completed 5th Graders | $350 Led by Rev. Becca Jones, Minister to Children Join with campers from across the region for child-centered Worship, Bible study, Camper's Choir Rotations, Missions, Recreation and more led by Passport Staff.  Travel in church vans, stay in college dorms, and eat in the dining hall with FBC chaperones.    Aftercare from 2:00-5:00 pm will be offered with Camp Jonah, Coastal Adventures Camp and Arts Camp. To register and hold your spot for aftercare with a $25 deposit. Total cost of Aftercare is $100/week/child and includes a daily snack, craft, movie, and free play in the Cove supervised by FBC Summer Staff.

To Register, starting February 1, 2024 a non-refundable $25 deposit holds a child's spot, and payment in full will be requested via a separate form sent at the end of April and due by May 15th. If you would like to pay in full now, you will see an option to do so. If your summer plans change and your child will no longer be attending, please let us know as soon as possible so we may open space for another child.

FINANCIAL NEED: To request a scholarship, please pay the $25 deposit and contact Marisa Highsmith (mhighsmith@fbcwilmington.org) for a scholarship form which will be awarded as funds allow. If you are unable to pay the deposit, please reach out to Becca Jones (bjones@fbcwilmington.org) or Marisa Highsmith.
