I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Preschool Director for First Baptist Christian Preschool. I have had the honor of starting this program and leading it for the past 18 years. As the Preschool Director, my primary goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. I firmly believe that the early years of a child’s life are crucial in shaping their future success, and I am dedicated to providing a solid foundation for their growth and development. Through age-appropriate activities, interactive play, and hands on experiences, we aim to cultivate your child’s cognitive abilities, problem solving skills, and social interactions.
We have a team of highly qualified and passionate teachers who are committed to your child’s well-being and growth. Our teachers are not only knowledgeable in child development, but also deeply dedicated to creating a warm and supportive classroom environment. They will work closely with you to ensure that your child’s individual needs are met.

Our Purpose
The Core Purpose of First Baptist Church Christian Preschool is to embrace childhood in partnership with families and God.
Christian Faith Principles
We model and teach Christian faith principles such as love, patience, kindness, compassion, goodness, self-control, gentleness, forgiveness, faithfulness, joy, and humility.
Child-Centered Curriculum
We believe children learn through play. Our teachers skillfully prepare and facilitate open-ended learning environments appropriate for child-initiated exploration.
Relationships
We value each child and all people as unique gifts from God.
Childhood
We value childhood and its importance on “who” young children become. We believe it is our responsibility to be active in safekeeping it.
Registration
For over seventeen years our mission has been to offer excellence in preschool education for children in our community while providing a loving, Christ-centered environment that fosters the whole child in every area of development. The FBC Christian Preschool is a ministry of our First Baptist Church and is located at our Activity Center.
We offer a half-day Christian early education program for toddlers, twos, threes, and four-year-olds. By allowing each child to develop at their own rate as an individual the activities that they participate in foster the development of self-esteem and independence while also encouraging creativity and curiosity in a loving and nurturing Christian environment. These characteristics are the foundation for intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
How to Register
Please complete the enrollment form below and submit it along with your $125 non-refundable registration fee to the office of First Baptist Christian Preschool at 1939 Independence Blvd., 28403. Checks can be made payable to First Baptist Church Preschool.
Please complete a separate Enrollment Form for each child. This enrollment form does not guarantee your child a slot within the preschool.
