Student Ministry

Serve. Grow. Belong.

At the FBC Student Ministry, we are creating a space for discipleship where students from sixth to twelfth grades can Serve, Grow, and Belong together. We want our students to know that they are an integral part of our story by giving them a place to belong. From this foundation, we seek to join together to grow spiritually and to serve as the hands and feet of Christ to the community and the world around us.

On Sunday mornings we have two Bible study groups, middle school and high school. Students are encouraged and challenged as they navigate the journey of being teenagers and followers of Jesus Christ.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday nights we meet in The Cove for a snack supper, fun games, worship and Bible study. Come and hang out with friends (or meet new ones) as together we learn how to love God more and to love others better.

Wednesday Evenings
Seasonal | 6:15PM - 7:30PM

Wednesday evening CrossTraining for students features small group conversations led by dedicated adult leaders. These give us the chance to deepen our faith and spend time with more focused portions of our Student Ministry community.

Student Mission Trip

July 21-26
Washington, D.C.

While many of the people living in the Metro area live in comfort, too much of the city’s population lives with the hardship of poverty and hunger. We’ll be living in the city for a week, serving alongside local organizations spreading love and light throughout our nation’s capital. Along the way we’ll learn about some of the realities of urban living, explore some of the historical treasures of the city, and have a whole load of fun.

We need donations of the following items:

  • New Socks (crew, both insulated and not insulated)

  • Travel-sized toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc.)

Donations are accepted at our downtown location or at our Activity Center.
