We want every child to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ; know God, not just with their head, but with a heart knowledge that moves them to action – to love God, and to love and serve others.

CAMP JONAH
June 22-26 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Completed K-5th graders
Cost: $75
Our premier summer camp for kids featuring daily themed Bible study, worship, science, art, recreation, connect with God and missions! $75 cost includes t-shirt, daily hot lunch, and all activity supplies.
Open to completed K-5th graders.
CAMP CREATION
June 9-11 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Children ages 3, 4 and 5 years old
Cost: $40
Our summer camp especially for preschoolers that includes daily Bible story, art, music, snack, recreation and creation stations for children ages 3, 4 and 5 years olds (going into K, PreK and K3 programs in Fall 2026). Cost $40 includes t-shirt, snack and all supplies.
P.E. CAMP
July 6-10 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Completed 1st-5th graders
Cost: $75
Our action and sports-based camp that will keep your kids moving and active all week while honing new skills, daily Bible devotions and snack included for completed 1st-5th graders. Cost $75 includes t-shirt, snack, and all activity supplies.
ARTS CAMP
July 13-17 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Completed K-5th graders
Cost: $125
Our arts focused camp where we put on a musical in a week complete with songs, choreography, costumes, and drama along with visual arts, instruments and daily Bible focus and art education for completed K-5th graders. Cost $125 includes t-shirt, snack, and all activity supplies.
FINANCIAL NEED:
To request a scholarship, please pay the $25 deposit and contact Marisa Highsmith (mhighsmith@fbcwilmington.org) for a scholarship request. These will be awarded as funds allow. If you are unable to pay the deposit, please reach out to Becca Jones (bjones@fbcwilmington.org) or Marisa Highsmith.
Sunday Worship

K-5th grade
Children are a vital part of our worship. We celebrate inter-generational worship and intentionally seek to engage children in kindergarten through 5th grade in worship. There are regularly scheduled children’s sermons, baptisms and parent child dedication services. To help young children engage, we offer worship bags filled with activities to help your children focus during the worship services. These bags are located at the entrances to the sanctuary.

Infants - Preschool
Infants to four-year old’s will receive excellent care in their age-specific classrooms during worship. We provide a caring environment specifically tailored to the age of your children and we staff our nursery rooms with caring professionals and dedicated volunteers who have been screened rigorously. Classrooms are on the preschool hall located directly behind the sanctuary; our door greeters can direct you to this area where you will be met by a childcare host.

All Ages
Preschoolers: From the youngest age, children are taught about God’s love for them and others. As preschoolers grow, foundational Bible stories come to life each week through story, song, games, art and more!
Elementary Children (Grades K-5): experience God each week through creative, interactive, hands-on lessons. Committed teachers provide a warm and friendly place for children to develop trust and faith.

Associate Pastor to Children and Families
With nearly two decades of professional children’s ministry experience, Becca intentionally and thoughtfully seeks to utilize every opportunity children are entrusted to our care to help them develop a love for God, self, others and the church. She takes seriously the responsibility to help children develop a life-long love of learning about the Bible and helping them to build a foundation of faith upon which they can grow for years to come. She has a Masters of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology and a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from the University of Georgia. She is married and has four children.
