It’s Time to Nominate Deacons for 2027!
Start Date: Sunday, October 4
End Date: Sunday, October 25
October is our month to nominate and elect deacons to serve our congregation for the next 2 years. We will need nominations for both Small Group and At-Large deacons. Start thinking now about those individuals you might nominate for this important pastoral care leadership in our congregation.
Similar to the past two years, Deacon nominations will primarily take place digitally. A churchwide email was sent with information about At-Large Deacon Nominations, as well as the form link. The following Small Groups will need to nominate one or more Deacons for 2027: The Bridge Class, Meet in the Middle, Merry Marthas, Listening to Each Other, Circle of Hope, Intergenerational, Hengeveld, Young Families, and Young Adults. Small Group Deacon nomination forms were sent directly to those Small Groups. The last day to submit your nominations will be Sunday, October 25th.
For members who prefer or need a paper form, forms will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary and at the Activity Center. Completed paper forms may be mailed, placed in an offering plate, or returned to the drop boxes around the church and at the Activity Center.
We encourage members to participate in the nomination process and prayerfully consider those who may be called to serve as deacons.
Instructions for filling out the Google Form

Access the Google Form by using the button below.

On the first page, there is a space to enter your email - this is required to proceed with the form.

Enter your nominees in the boxes provided.

Check the box acknowledging that the online form is in place of a paper form.

Enter your first and last name to sign the form.

Before you submit, there is a button giving you the option to receive a copy of your answers for your records.

Be sure to hit the submit button. You should see a message confirming that your response has been submitted.
