Want to varnish pine floors and some furniture – durable, clear, low yellowing. Water-based or oil?
Varnish protects wood from wear – water-based dries faster, less odour; oil-based tougher but longer dry. I prefer low-odour for indoors. Paintlab has interior varnish and lacquer – floor-grade, furniture options, clear/satin/gloss https://www.paintlab.ie/collections/interior-varnish-lacquer . Applied their satin lacquer on stairs; scratch-resistant, minimal ambering. Multiple thin coats best.
