EDUCATION
Bachelor's in Political Science from Belmont University and Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School

ABOUT ME
Jennifer grew up in the Nashville area where her mom is an ordained minister. She earned a degree in Political Science from Belmont University and her Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, where she also completed certificates in Baptist theology and Prison Studies. Her first ministry role was as a chaplain at a women’s prison in Raleigh, NC, followed by ministry at First Baptist Church of Colorado Springs.
Jennifer met her husband, John-Mark Brown, while living in Colorado. He grew up in East Tennessee and earned his Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University. They have been married five years and share life with their goldendoodle, Linus. Jennifer loves reading physical books, especially memoirs and fiction, and enjoys visiting botanical gardens.
In her role, Jennifer looks forward to building meaningful programming for senior adults, planning engaging events, and preaching with the Tuesday Noon Church in the year ahead. She is grateful to join in God’s work at FBC Wilmington.
