After the death of my dear wife Theresa, I wasn’t sure how I could go on living. Nothing seemed to matter to me anymore. I lost the love of my life, the one I chose and the one who chose me.

I struggled for a while to find my identity. I played volleyball at Clemson and very much felt defined by it. I was injured in my senior year season and wasn’t able to play.
